Khandallah House

Completed 2020

Addition and Alterations.

Light floods into new kitchen and dining spaces added to this original circa 1930's English cottage.

Access from the kitchen to the newly-landscaped courtyard and garden levels is via a well-placed door. A low window allows natural light in, while maintaining privacy from close neighbours. Two benches - one stainless steel, one stone - provide ample work surfaces, with laminated plywood and maple timber detailing adding warmth to the space.

A generous window seat captures morning sun and frames the garden view. Furniture and soft furnishings chosen by Charlotte Minty Interior Design contribute an elegant and cohesive feel to the new addition.

Internal renovations to the entrance, stair, bathroom and laundry introduce contemporary design solutions, yet still respect the original cottage feel of the house.
