Wadestown House
Completed 2013
Alterations.
The design of a new bathroom and laundry was a space-saving solution for this house.
The previously separate bathroom and toilet rooms were combined into a single bathroom and laundry. A small existing alcove at the bathroom's entrance was transformed into a coat-hanging space which conceals the bathroom from the adjacent hallway and entry. The alcove has a new translucent screen which provides privacy for the bathroom and also allows light into both areas.
New glazing and hardware have resurrected the original 1960's timber windows and bathroom fittings have been selected with the original design of the house in mind.
