Dowse Art Museum Foyer
Completed 2013
Interior Fit Out.
The Dowse Art Museum's foyer was re-worked to allow for an easy-access information desk, a new retail space, reading area, and storage.
Mobile display units can now be concealed behind a wall of display boxes when the foyer transforms into a social space for functions and gatherings. This wall is also used for signage.
The information desk, storage wall, and seating were built in-house by the gallery's technical team. This meant that material selections and details were designed to complement available resources and equipment.
In collaboration with Sebastian Bissinger, Splinters & Pixels (mobile retail display units) and Sarah Maxey (graphics and signage).
